About the Position
The Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse with Vail Health plays a significant role at our Shaw Cancer Center. There, you will work with physicians and other members of interdisciplinary teams to provide the highest quality care for patients diagnosed with cancer. Due to the nature of a cancer diagnosis, patients often require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance. To be an Oncology RN, it is vital to have compassion and personal fortitude. Part of your duties will include, but are not limited to: administering radiation therapy, implementing new methods of symptom treatment, monitoring patients’ progress, and creating a supportive and educational environment for the patient and their family.

- Minimum of Associate's Nursing Degree
- 1 year of Oncology nursing experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by American Heart Association
