About the Position: Registered Nurse, Internal Medicine - PRN/Pool 

As an Internal Medicine Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in caring for adult patients at Vail Health. Your primary focus will be patients needing nonsurgical procedures as well as the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. In addition to these duties, you will often be the first point of contact for patients through the check in process and educating patients on disease prevention, symptom care, and other related issues. Due to the complex and advanced nature of symptoms for many internal diseases, specialized knowledge and excellent communication skills are vital to provide the best diagnosis and care for patients. You will also need keen attention to detail in order to accurately assess verbal and nonverbal cues in order to find the severity of symptoms and accurately diagnose the patient.

  • One-year clinical experience
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
