About the Position: Surgical Tech | Fulltime | Days

The OR Technician assists during surgical procedures by ensuring and maintaining the integrity of a sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation as needed to the surgical team. Participates in unit activities that assure high levels of quality related to patient care.
 
The OR Tech at Vail Valley functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum one year of Operating Room experience working as an OR Technician in a Hospital setting
      • Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist
  • License(s):
    • Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado required.
  • Certification(s):
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association required.
