About the Position

The Pre Surgical Planning Nurse provides pre-operative screening and medical evaluation of patients that will have anesthesia for a surgery or procedure. They will need to review and evaluate the patient's condition and medical record to determine any potential risk factors and collaborate with the surgical team to communicate these risks. The Presurgical Planning RN will instruct the patient on pre-operative care management and coordinate the patient's care with the physicians and staff.

    • Days, 36h/week


    • One-year clinical experience 
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Associate Nursing Degree
